Lesson of 29th November 2010

Today i worked on uploading the previous work we did before the college magazine cover. I set up a flickr and slideshare account and uploading a powerpoint and images. However, we were unable to upload the powerpoint due to technical difficulties, next week I will need to finish uploading previous work and start analysing music magazine covers.

Here are the ideas i thought of for how to represent a rap genre music magazine.

Representation: Dance

Before we started our college magazines we needed to understand that we needed to represent our magazines in a certain way due to age/class/gender etc so we were given 4 genres of music and say how we should represent this type of genre on a magazine. Here is the ideas I came up with to help represent a dance genre magazine.

Annotated Magazine Cover

Before we even got started on our college magazine we analysed front covers of music magazines. We annotated music magazine covers by showing the features that is what normally is seen on the front of the cover. The music magazine i chose to annotate was NME.
